Democrats brand themselves as the “compassionate” party. They are so compassionate, that they do nothing as millions of people drag children across miles of dangerous territory to illegally enter the country.
Many have accused President Biden of exploiting desperate migrants for cheap labor. Even blue cities are trying to get the thousands of migrants overrunning their communities to work jobs.
Instead of training hard-up Americans, liberals are trying to give these jobs to illegal aliens. One Democrat mayor was trying to defend his goal of using migrants for cheap labor. And he dropped a comment that would have ended a Republican’s career.

On Tuesday, Eric Adams suggested the many vacant lifeguard positions across New York City could be filled by illegal immigrants.The mayor claimed that those who entered the United States unlawfully would be perfect for the job because they’re “excellent swimmers.”
“If we had a migrant and asylum seeker plan that states those jobs that we are in high demand we could expedite,” Adams said during a press briefing. “How do we have a large body of people in our city and country that are excellent swimmers and at the same time we need lifeguards?”
Mayor Adams suggests that illegal immigrants could help address New York City’s lifeguard shortage, citing their “excellent swimming” skills.

New York Mayor Eric Adams went from complaining about the hundreds of thousands of migrants hurting his city—to trying to give them low-paying jobs. Echoing other Democratic leaders, Adams was complaining about how illegal aliens are unable to work jobs in the state.
He then stated that migrants—who do not have valid identification and broke the law to come to the U.S.—should work as lifeguards at public pools in NYC. The reason? According to Adams, they are “excellent swimmers.”
Um… sounds like Adams is pushing a racial stereotype about migrants who cross the Southern border. How does Adams know these migrants—hailing from Mexico and South American countries—are good at swimming? Is it because he assumes they crossed rivers to get to America?
Adams appears to be referencing the racial slur “wetbacks,” an insult to many Hispanic people.
Worse still, Adams wants to hire undocumented migrants (some of whom are fugitives from justice or cartel members) to monitor pools. You know, pools that will have many children swimming in over the summer?
