The Maui wildfire is out, but it will take a generation before the historic town of Lahaina has recovered. The devastating fire has left thousands without homes or personal possessions. Over 100 people have died, with many more still missing. But worst of all has been the federal government’s response to the disaster.
CNN has previously criticized the lack of federal agents’ presence during the crisis. Joe Biden told Hawaiians they would only get $700 per family, despite losing everything. Joe was there for one day, before jetting off to another vacation. Now, FEMA–the agency supposedly devoted to helping Americans in crisis–has been exposed for doing this.

It has been revealed that members of the Federal Emergency Management Agency assisting with the recovery effort in Maui are lodging in 5-star hotels miles away from the wildfire-ravaged city of Lahaina.
Many residents have themselves moved from shelters into government-funded hotels on the west side of the island, however the exclusive resorts in the town of Wailea appear to have been reserved for FEMA personnel only…
With nightly rates starting at around $1,000, the resorts are quite exclusive, and have hosted some of the richest people in the world, including numerous Hollywood celebrities.
Wow. FEMA hardly has a good reputation among Americans. For decades, this agency has faced backlash over how poorly it responds to natural disasters. Way back during Katrina, the agency even staged a fake press conference, to avoid criticism.
It’s good to know that some things never change.
Under Biden, FEMA continues to fail Americans. And, like most Biden agencies, it is putting itself ahead of Americans.
FEMA personnel are staying at luxury resorts miles away from fire-ravaged Lahaina. FEMA claims that they are getting a reduced rate. Oh! That makes it so much better!
While some Americans have been left with nothing, apparently FEMA officials think this is a chance to stretch out and enjoy the sun.
Why not? Their boss, Joe Biden, was getting some sun on the beach while Maui burned.
This is truly disgusting. And it’s not even the half of it. Others are revealing that the FEMA locations supposedly set up to provide aid are too far away for residents to reach.
