What’s Happening:
Liberals for years have railed about the spread of disinformation or misinformation they claim hurts their political ideology. What they don’t accept is when anyone points out the level of questionable information they spread far and wide across the internet.
Now the liberals are divided on one of the biggest issues facing the world right now, and at the center of their targeted attacks is the top leader in the Democratic Party. Federal employees have not only complained about what their dear leader has said, they put pen to paper to call him out.
A group of at least 100 State Department and United States Agency for International Development employees have accused President Joe Biden of “spreading misinformation” and being “complicit in genocide” regarding his stance on the Israel-Hamas war.
From the Daily Caller:
“Members of the White House and (the National Security Council) displayed a clear disregard for the lives of Palestinians, a documented unwillingness to de-escalate, and, even prior to October 7, a reckless lack of strategic foresight,” the memo states, according to Axios.
The scathing memo doesn’t appear to address a specific moment in Biden’s tenure other than citing his Oct. 10 speech where he talked about the horrific Hamas terrorist attacks on unsuspecting Israelis. The harsh letter states that Biden should work for the release of hostages on both sides in the war, it questions Israel’s response to the Hamas attack, and it criticized Biden for doubting the number of Palestinian civilians who reportedly died in Gaza, according to the news outlet.
These U.S. taxpayer funded employees don’t’ stop with attacking Biden. They claim Israel’s cutting off electricity and limiting aid to Gaza “all constitute war crimes and/or crimes against humanity under international law,” the memo reads, according to Axios.
Biden’s support of Israel has landed him in hot water among Democrats and political allies. Many in hold that Biden is too pro-Israel and there is concern in the president’s party that he could lose votes from young Democrats for his support of the U.S. ally.
While another group of State Department staffers called for Biden to seek a ceasefire, a State Department spokesperson said, “we expect, we appreciate,” that people working in this department have “different beliefs about what the Untied States policy should be.”
This sounds like Biden’s support within his own party and bank of allies is fracturing as a broad spectrum of anti-Israel and un-American views and ideologies are exposed to the public.
Key Takeaways:
- Biden administration staffers turn on president for his Israel stance.
- Federal employees say the president has spread “misinformation.”
- Taxpayer funded workers want the president to stop Israel’s actions.
