They opened Alexandria’s closet – and now they’re abandoning her.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t had a great few months. The once darling on the left has been called out for breaking all the rules.
The Green New Deal Democrat has even criticized Nancy Pelosi, the de facto party leader.
But now it’s AOC who should be watching her back.
Turns out, AOC may have broken campaign finance laws. Liberal PAC Justice Democrats put her in charge of their group. Big problem, since PAC’s aren’t supposed to have direct contact with candidates.
And now the Justice Democrats, who actually discovered AOC in a nationwide candidate search, are sending her packing.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., reportedly has been de-listed from the board of left-wing activist group Justice Democrats, following legal and ethical questions about her affiliation with the group.
News broke that AOC was working for this PAC. Some have even speculated that she is an “actor” who is just obeying the orders of this group.
A wild assertion, sure. But why else did they keep it a secret that she was in charge of this PAC?
Once that tidbit came out, the group immediately de-listed her from their board. But does that mean she no longer works with them?
Or is that just to keep up appearances?
We’ve wondered about AOC since she first appeared on the scene. She rose to prominence after demanding the end to ICE.
Many interviews with the former bartender show she has a very weak grasp on our economy.
And even more ironically, AOC has been a champion of campaign finance laws. Pot calling kettle black?
When confronted over her missteps, she simply resorts to identity politics to protect her.
And of course, there is the Green New Deal, which was so poorly written it was mocked by everyone.
Does this mean she was just an actor for a powerful PAC? Or is she just an amateur, unqualified to lead?
I’m not sure which one is worse!
One thing is for sure though, it seems AOC was breaking the very rules she has been demanding for everyone else.
