Democrats really don’t like the fact that Elon Musk is fixing Twitter. The once-stagnant site for angry leftists has been revitalized, just by Musk ending its years of censorship. But Musk is doing more than just letting users freely speak their minds.
He turned the tables on leftists who used Twitter to not only silence conservatives but put private citizens in harm’s way. Recently, Musk banned several journalists who were posting private location data about Musk’s family online (also known as doxxing). The left flipped out, including self-described socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. But the Congresswoman was quickly schooled by the facts.

In a pair of tweets, Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York, accused Musk of “abuse of power” and encouraged him to “lay off the proto-fascism” hours after he temporarily barred journalists who worked for CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post and others…
“Take a beat and lay off the proto-fascism. Maybe try putting down your phone,” she wrote, sharing one of Musk’s tweets…
And, “Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not.”

This is pretty hilarious. For years, liberals in the media have used a method known as “doxxing” as a form of retribution against their political enemies. A journalist will publish the address or real-time location of a conservative/Republican, knowing that some lunatic will use that information to harm them.
Doxxing has resulted in actual harm to conservatives. Republican Sen. Rand Paul was attacked several times after a Democrat Senate staffer released his private information. Recently, a number of journalists were publishing the real-time location data of Elon Musk’s car. It resulted in an unstable person assaulting the car, thinking Musk’s child was inside.
Musk immediately banned those journalists who doxxed the car and shut down an account that was publishing Musk’s location (using data that was not publicly available). Unsurprisingly, Democrats whined about “free speech” (suddenly they care about the First Amendment again!). Including AOC, who accused Musk of abusing his power and embracing “proto-fascism.”
What the heck is “proto-fascism”? Is that like “semi-fascism”? Neither of which are real words or things. You’re either a fascist or you aren’t. I find it hilarious that AOC is accusing Musk of being dangerous and abusing his power.
Yet she is still using Twitter? If AOC really feared what Musk could do, why is she openly calling him out and criticizing him? Funny thing is, real tyrants do very bad things to people who undermine them. Instead, Musk just makes a silly joke at her and moves on.
Not very “proto-fascist” of him, is it? AOC is quick to call out supposed injustices when they are coming from the right. But when journalists expose Musk’s children to danger, she doesn’t care. Maybe she needs to reconsider saying anything?
