Here comes Barr’s 1-2 punch!

Democrats should fear Trump’s new attorney general. William Barr single-handedly destroyed their biggest attack against the president: Russian collusion.

He also made it clear his DOJ would be investigating the Obama administration and how they spied on candidate Donald Trump.

And while Democrats are distracted with the release of the full Mueller report, Barr is setting his sights on the massive border crisis.

He just dropped a new rule that closes a loophole Democrats use to help border jumpers.

Attorney General William Barr on Tuesday reversed a ruling that allowed migrants to be released on bond who had crossed the southern border illegally and then established they had “credible fear” of returning to their home countries.

Sorry, Democrats, we’re not suckers!

AG Barr just ended a policy that let migrants who were caught sneaking over the border to be released on bond.

Some of the border jumpers would claim they have a “credible fear” of going back to their countries.

But instead of properly applying for asylum, they tried to break the law.

These people normally get a court date, then are released in the U.S. We all know what happens next:

They never show up for their hearing.

This policy has been used to help border jumpers escape deportation.

By ending this policy, Barr is requiring detained migrants to face justice. They have a court date for entering the country illegally. Why should we just release them, hoping they’d show up?

That system has been a joke, abused for far too long.

Make no mistake: liberals will try to fight this. They will do whatever they can to ensure border jumpers have more protections under our law than you or me.

It’s amazing how anyone still votes for Democrats.
