What’s Happening:

Proof that Democrats fear Donald Trump is in how much they fight him. If we are really passed the “Trump era,” then why are Democrats wasting so much time and money trying to discredit him? They launched a “commission” against him, numerous lawsuits in New York and D.C. courts, and a team within the House are still gunning for his tax returns.

Although it means little at this point, Democrats appealed all the way to the Supreme Court. Chief Justice Roberts issued a temporary stay of their demands. But this week, he is ordering the Treasury to give the House Trump’s tax returns.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the handover of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns to the House Ways and Means Committee…

Roberts formally denied the request.

“The application for stay of the mandate presented to The Chief Justice and by him referred to the Court is denied,” the order states. “The order heretofore entered by The Chief Justice is vacated.”

It appears Chief Justice Roberts was the sole justice to make the final decision. However, it didn’t stop Trump from bashing the entire court.

Why would anybody be surprised that the Supreme Court has ruled against me, they always do! It is unprecedented to be handing over Tax Returns, & it creates terrible precedent for future Presidents. Has Joe Biden paid taxes on all of the money he made illegally from Hunter & beyond. The Supreme Court has lost its honor, prestige, and standing, & has become nothing more than a political body, with our Country paying the price. They refused to even look at the Election Hoax of 2020. Shame on them!

Trump has a right to be upset over this case. Never have we seen Democrats hunt down the tax returns of other leaders, presidents or otherwise. They clearly just want to do this to find some evidence that Trump hasn’t paid his taxes.

How’s that worked out for them in the past? We remember when Rachel Maddow had a “scoop” when she got her hands on one year of Trump’s tax returns. And we learned Trump paid more than most rich Americans.

What do Democrats think they are going to do with this information? They will soon lose control of the Ways and Means Committee. By January, they won’t have any power to use this information for any reason.

Trump’s reaction appears to be going overboard, though. He blamed the entire court when it was only Chief Justice Roberts who made the decision. Although a Bush appointee, Roberts can hardly be considered a conservative justice. He has yet to find the leaker of the Dobbs draft–despite months of “investigations.”

It doesn’t seem Roberts is all too eager to uphold constitutional values, unlike the justices Trump himself appointed. The Supreme Court as a whole has scored powerful victories for the country in recent months, including overturning Roe v Wade and major gun restrictions. Trump would do well to remember those.
