Numerous celebrities have commented on the Israel-Hamas war. Many have issued statements supporting Israel’s efforts to root out the terrorist network.

But others have sided with Democrats who are seemingly backing Hamas. Some have even suggested Israel is largely to blame for the conflict.

That includes actress Angelina Jolie. And now, her patriotic father Jon Voight, is setting her straight.

Voight released a video Friday, saying that his daughter did not understand the conflict in Israel. He said that Jolie had “no understanding of God’s honor” and did not grasp how the attacks from terrorist group Hamas could destroy “the land of the Jews.”…

He said that the Israeli army must protect their land, despite the protests from the left, citing the “inhuman terror” from Hamas. He noted that those arguing that Israel is the “problem” should look inwards to reflect on God’s “truths.”

Outspoken conservative actor Jon Voight responded to comments made by his daughter, Angelina Jolie. Jolie was critical of Israel’s war against Hamas. So, Voight spoke out against the violence perpetrated by Hamas against the Israeli people.

He explained that Israel has the right to defend itself from “inhuman terror.” Voight attempted to correct apparent falsehoods being spread against Israel. He asserted that Israel was “the land of the Jews” perhaps leaning on Biblical passages that defend such a view.

Voight appeared to make a distinction between Palestinian civilians who are being victimized and the terror group Hamas. Some Democrats have apparently failed to make this distinction when they voice their support of Palestinians.

A large number of Hollywood celebrities have sided with Israel. Notable actors and entertainers have signed open letters condemning Hamas’ October 7 attack. Others have urged Biden to make all efforts to free the many still held hostage by Hamas.

It’s unclear why Angelina Jolie took the stance that she did. But a number of liberals have embraced dogma spread by Hamas and the mainstream media. Even colleges and students have accused Israel of being an “apartheid state” and seemingly blamed it for the attacks.
