It’s no secret that Adam Schiff is one of the most-disliked politicians in D.C. He tried to make a name for himself during the Trump administration. He tried one scheme after another to take down the former president. He led the Democrats’ questionable impeachment probe in 2019. And he joined Pelosi and other leftist goons on the “J6 Commission.”
Despite his constant failures, Schiff hasn’t gotten the memo. With a Democrat senator stepping down, Schiff thinks it’s time he got promoted. But win or lose, he might not be able to hold onto his House seat. Because a household name from the 90s is gunning for him.
Actor Ben Savage, most known for playing Cory on the 1990s hit sitcom Boy Meets World, on Monday officially launched his campaign to replace Russia collusion hoaxer Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) in Congress…
“Together, we can do better…” Savage wrote…
“I’m running for Congress because it’s time to restore faith in government by offering reasonable, innovative and compassionate solutions to our country’s most pressing issues. And it’s time for new and passionate leaders who can help move our country forward…”
Well, look at this. Ben Savage, star of the 1990s family show Boy Meets World filed paperwork to take Adam Schiff’s seat in Congress. Adam Schiff is running for U.S. Senate to replace Dianne Feinstein. But many Democrats have rushed to take Feinstein’s place.
Schiff has long odds of winning the Democrat nomination. And if he loses his bid for the Senate, he might not have a job waiting for him back at the House. Because if Savage is successful, he’ll be taking Shifty Schiff’s seat in Congress.
It seems Savage, while a registered Democrat, is taking shots at his predecessor. In his official campaign announcement, he seemed to imply current liberal leadership has failed Americans. He vowed he can “do better” and that it was time for “new leadership.”
That certainly sounds like he’s taking shots at Schiff. Savage is running in California, a deep-blue district in a deep-blue state. Who else would he be talking about, but older Democrats who have failed the state?
We can’t say if Savage will do a better job than current Democrats. Unless he surprises us and leans to the right, we are not optimistic. But it does seem like he is poised to drive Schiff out of office. A young, iconic actor just might be the one to give old Schiff the boot.
And we won’t be upset about that.
