Democrats Cut Refugees $8.8 Billion Check They Would Never Give Our Troops

Liberals don’t care that by forcing Americans to take in hundreds of thousands of refugees they are harming the very people they swore to protect. And, the biggest way they are harming them is by the cost they expect taxpayers to cover.

In 2016 alone the U.S. took in 96,900 refugees. And, when you add all the refugees admitted to the U.S. since 1980 the number is a staggering 3.5 million.

Liberals don’t want us to know that along with millions of immigrants there also comes a hefty price tag. But, a recent report is shedding light on just how much this is going to cost everyday Americans.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform Monday put the five-year price tag at $8.8 billion in federal and state costs, or nearly $80,000 per refugee. There are some 18 federal and state programs refugees can tap for financial help, including food stamps, child care, public housing and school loans.

On a yearly average, it is $1.8 billion, or $15,900 per refugee. Included in that are enormous refugee resettlement costs such as $867 million in welfare, housing assistance and education.

That is nearly five times the pay for a private in the Army Reserve.

How is it possible that the American government is willing to spend more money on a refugee who literally does nothing but take from the U.S. than on a private serving in the Army Reserve whose very job is to protect this country?

It’s possible because democrats, and Barack Obama in particular, value anyone who isn’t an American more than Americans themselves. If it wasn’t true a private in the Army Reserve wouldn’t be paid less than a refugee receives in government assistance.

Their actions speak volumes.

Thankfully with Trump in the White House, the admittance of refugees has been curbed.  It’s down to 45,000 a year as of right now. We still have a long way to go, but if anyone can come up with the best way to handle the refugee crisis, it’s President Trump.
