In recent years, the “woke” mob–empowered by Democrats–have used social media and other pressure to “cancel” anyone who disagrees with them. The power of this mob is incredible. Numerous celebrities have lost their jobs. Others have refused to speak their minds, out of fear they were next.
But it looks like the tide is turning. Several “canceled” celebrities have bounced back, refusing to give in to the left. And more are standing up to this mob, refusing to bend the knee to the radical left’s extreme views. Three of them have withstood the mob–and won.
From Fox News:
Brittany Aldean made headlines last week when she took a public stand against Balenciaga amid the brand’s ad campaign scandal…
“It’s trash day,” Aldean declared in the caption of her Instagram post, tagging the luxury fashion house…
Candace Cameron Bure is another public figure who refused to waver after becoming embroiled in a controversy over her personal beliefs…
Dave Chappelle is another star who has continued to defy his critics. The 49-year-old comedian has faced massive backlash over jokes he made last year about the transgender community during his Netflix comedy special “The Closer.”
Several notable celebrities have recently defied the radical left to stand up for their beliefs. Celebrity and wife of country music star Jason Aldean, Brittany Aldean, made waves when she publicly destroyed all her expensive Balenciaga products.
Numerous online users have criticized the high-label fashion company for ads that have portrayed children in troubling ways. But few celebrities–including those who profit from the company–have spoken out. Except, of course, Aldean.
Candace Cameron Bure faced tremendous backlash for standing by her faith-defined beliefs on marriage. She left the Hallmark Channel, as the company was skewing left to appeal to gay viewers. Cameron Bure stood up to the woke mob when she declared her new channel would not pander to the radical mob.
Dave Chappelle is one of an extremely few liberal celebrities who refuse to bow to the woke mob. Radical leftists have tried many times to cancel the comedian. But he has continued to criticize the left’s narrative. Streaming giant Netflix has stood by the entertainer, refusing to end its contract with him.
These three figures have faced strong pushback for standing up to the woke mob. Despite all this, they are winning the battle–rallying supporters and fans in the process.
